Samuel Henry J. "Sam" Worthington nació el 02 de agosto de 1976.Actor australiano. Acudió al John Curtin School of Performing Arts y estudió interpretación en Sidney.
Antes de llegar al cine interpretó obras de teatro y apareció en diversas producciones televisivas.
En el 2000 debutó en la gran pantalla con “Bootmen”.
En el 2009 alcanzó la fama internacional al intervenir junto a Christian Bale en “Terminator Salvation”.
En el 2010 puso la voz de Alex Mason, personaje principal del videojuego Call of duty: Black Ops.
En televisión participó en series como “Love My Way” y “The Surgeon”.
